Clinics

Antenatal

Our patients have access to midwives for Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire with regular Antenatal Clinics held at Tring, Pitstone and Berkhamsted surgeries. Patients are asked to self-refer to the hospital of their choice and the midwives will then arrange their booking in appointment, to take place between 8 to 10 weeks of pregnancy.

See our local and national organisations for support and self-referral

Asthma Management

Our Nursing team also offer a selection of face-to-face asthma reviews.

Babies and Children’s Vaccinations

We follow the National Immunisation Guidelines and Nurse lead Baby Immunisation appointments are held at each of our sites. You can find information on all the vaccinations currently or recently offered on the NHS website. This includes information about the ages that vaccines should be given, and the diseases they protect against.

If you do not wish your child to receive a particular immunisation, we require a specific signed request from a parent/guardian/a person with parental responsibility. Please remember to bring your red book with you as it might not be possible to immunise your child without it.

Counselling Services

If you wish to see the counsellor please speak to your Doctor who will refer you. We can refer you to a qualified counsellor who can help you with advice and counselling on a wide range of problems that families and individuals experience at different times.

  • Most referrals for our MHN come through our GP Triage System and appointments are predominately 20-minute telephone consultations.

Social Prescribing

Various factors can impact your health and wellbeing. GPs report that many patients visit feeling isolated or experiencing stress related to financial, work, or housing issues. In some cases, the challenge of managing multiple long-term health conditions can also contribute to this stress.

Social prescribing can help address these concerns. Our GPs can refer patients to a Social Prescriber, who will offer support by connecting them with appropriate services, or activities that may improve their overall wellbeing.
