Test Results
Please allow 72 hours (three working days) after your test before you contact us.
Test results are sent back to the requesting clinician. If another organisation like a hospital ordered your tests, unfortunately we will not have your results.
Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view your results:
- On your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- Phone on 01442 822468 and choose option 3, which puts you through to the general enquiries line – this is open from 2pm to 5pm.

Specimens / Samples
All samples should be dropped into the surgery by 10:30am.
Please make sure all samples are clearly marked with your full name, date of birth and the date you gave the sample.
Samples in incorrect pots or samples which are labelled incorrectly may not be able to be processed by the lab.
Urine/Stool samples
These samples should be collected into a clear, round samples pot provided by the surgery. Please complete the label on your sample pot. Your full name should be clearly visible.
Urine samples for annual reviews (urine ACR’s)
If you have a diagnosis for any of the following, you may be asked to submit a urine sample as part of your annual review:
- Hypertension
- Chronic kidney disease
- Diabetes
Instructions on how to use your urine ACR kit should be included in the plastic bag with the syringe.
Stool Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) test
Instructions on how to collect your stool sample for a FIT test should be included in the pack given to you.
